Jesus Calms the Storm

“Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’
Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” (Mark 4:39)

​

Is Jesus in the boat that you are riding in?

​

Jesus was riding in the boat together with His disciples.
Suddenly, a strong storm came, and big waves crashed into the boat.
The boat began to fill with water, and the disciples were very afraid.
So they woke up Jesus, who was sleeping, and asked Him for help.

​

Then Jesus spoke to the wind and calmed the storm!

When the disciples saw this, they were filled with awe and said,
“Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!”

​

If Jesus is with us, we don’t need to be afraid of anything.
Let’s trust in Jesus and become people with strong faith,
who are not afraid no matter what happens!

Jesus, the wonderful Son of God,
is always right beside you, me, and all of us!!
